Bodhi Wellness Collective
Come As You Are. Come Back to Yourself.
Bodhi Wellness Collective was born from a simple belief:
Our bodies are not something to fight against. They are something to learn, listen to, understand, and care for.
The name Bodhi comes from the Bodhi tree—the tree under which the Buddha is said to have awakened to enlightenment. For me, that symbolism carries another beautiful layer of meaning.
Bodhi brings me back to the body.
This physical vessel we experience this life through.
Our body carries our breath, our strength, our emotions, our memories, our stress, our joy, our experiences, and our growth. It is where we experience this human life.
And if we only get one body to move through this world in, perhaps one of the greatest things we can learn is how to care for it.
But I don't believe wellness is about finding a perfect plan and following it forever.
I believe wellness is about learning yourself.
There Is No One-Size-Fits-All Body
We all have different genetics, histories, environments, lifestyles, experiences, stressors, and nutritional needs.
What works beautifully for one person may not work the same way for another.
My own experience—including living without a gallbladder since childhood—has given me a deep interest in digestion, nutrition, and understanding how individual bodies respond to food and lifestyle.
Through my work with nutrition, yoga, fitness, movement, and wellness, I've become passionate about helping people move away from simply following another person's formula and toward understanding their own body.
Because sometimes wellness isn't about eating less, exercising more, or following the newest trend.
Sometimes it is about learning to recognize what your body is communicating.
At Bodhi, we look at wellness as a whole.
Mindful movement.
Yoga.
Strength and fitness.
Breathwork.
Meditation.
Mindset.
Nutrition.
Sleep and circadian rhythms.
Gut health and the microbiome.
Stress.
And the experiences we carry with us.
We may begin by looking at your meals, your routines, your energy, your digestion, your movement, and your habits. We may explore certain foods and, when appropriate, temporarily remove them and thoughtfully reintroduce them to better understand your individual responses.
We look for patterns rather than simply guessing.
And we start small.
Because lasting change rarely comes from trying to change everything overnight.
Wellness isn't a switch you flip. It is a relationship you build with yourself.
With the right guidance, small changes can become meaningful ones—supporting you in feeling stronger, more energized, more connected to your body, and more aware of what you actually need.
The Body Holds More Than We Think
Wellness isn't only about food and fitness.
The way we experience our bodies can also be shaped by stress, our environment, our relationships, our beliefs, and the experiences we've carried throughout our lives.
Sometimes we learn patterns very early in life.
We learn how to protect ourselves.
How to make ourselves smaller.
How to stay busy.
How to push through.
How to ignore what we need.
How to disconnect from what we feel.
And eventually, those patterns can become so familiar that we forget there was ever another way.
This is why Bodhi takes a whole-person approach.
We don't have to separate the body from the mind.
They are already connected.
Through movement, breath, stillness, reflection, meditation, nourishment, and intentional conversation, we can begin creating space to understand ourselves more deeply.
Coming Back to Source
There is a deeper part of wellness that has little to do with what we eat or how we exercise.
It is the journey of coming back to source.
Coming back to the part of ourselves that existed before the expectations, the fear, the conditioning, and the stories that taught us who we thought we were supposed to be.
I don't believe we have to detach ourselves from our past in order to move forward.
Our experiences are part of our story.
Some have been painful. Some have shaped us in ways we didn't understand at the time. And some have given us strength, perspective, compassion, wisdom, and a depth we may not have recognized until much later.
At Bodhi, we can learn to meet those experiences differently.
Rather than pushing them away, we can begin to understand them.
Rather than judging the parts of ourselves that struggled, we can learn to nurture them.
Rather than asking, “How do I get rid of this?” we can begin asking:
“What is this here to teach me?”
There can be beauty in that process.
There can be grace.
There can be an understanding that the person we were was doing the best they could with what they knew at the time—and that the person we are becoming gets to choose what comes forward with us.
This isn't about living in the past.
It isn't about allowing our experiences to define us.
It is about making peace with the parts of ourselves that helped us get here.
Sometimes growth isn't about becoming untouched by our experiences.
Sometimes it is about becoming more compassionate toward ourselves because of them.
And perhaps that is another way of coming back to source—not becoming someone new, but remembering the person who has been there underneath it all.
I Am Not Your Healer
I don't consider myself a healer.
I consider myself a mirror.
A mirror doesn't tell you who to become. It reflects what is already there.
My role is to create the space for you to see yourself more clearly.
I can offer knowledge, tools, practices, questions, perspective, encouragement, and guidance. I can walk beside you while you explore your relationship with your body, your habits, your thoughts, your movement, and your life.
But I am not here to fix you.
You are not broken.
You are the one doing the discovering.
You are the one learning your body.
You are the one creating the changes.
You are the one who ultimately knows yourself better than anyone else ever could.
My job is to help you see what you may not be able to see on your own.
To hold space.
To ask the questions.
To reflect what I see.
To guide you back toward yourself.
A Sanctuary. A Meeting Place.
The Bodhi yurt was created with this same intention.
It is more than a place to practice yoga.
It is a sanctuary and a meeting place,,,,a space to step away from the noise of everyday life and simply arrive.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
You don't have to be flexible enough for yoga.
You don't have to be fit enough for fitness.
You don't have to be “healed.”
You don't have to show up as the best version of yourself.
You can come exactly as you are.
The yurt is a place to move, breathe, reflect, learn, connect, and sometimes simply sit quietly with yourself.
It is a space for sunrise yoga by the ocean, mindful movement, fitness, breathwork, meditation, women's circles, wellness-based workshops, and conversations that invite us to look a little deeper.
It is a place to gather.
It is a place to learn.
It is a place to be witnessed.
And it is a place to come back to yourself.
Bringing Life Into What Is Already There
One of the ideas at the heart of Bodhi is:
Bring life into what is already there.
You don't necessarily need to become someone completely different.
Sometimes you simply need to create enough space to hear yourself again.
Maybe that begins with a morning yoga practice.
Maybe it's learning how to nourish your body differently.
Maybe it's becoming stronger.
Maybe it's learning how to breathe through a difficult moment.
Maybe it's examining an old belief you've carried since childhood.
Maybe it's understanding your relationship with food.
Maybe it's creating a healthier rhythm around sleep and daily life.
Maybe it's finally giving yourself permission to rest.
Maybe it's simply sitting beneath the trees, breathing deeply, and remembering that you are here.
Progress doesn't have to be dramatic to be meaningful.
Small choices, repeated with intention, can change the way we experience our lives.
And sometimes having someone beside you makes it easier to take those first steps.
That is what Bodhi Wellness Collective is here to offer.
Not a quick fix.
Not a perfect formula.
Not another set of rules telling you who you should be.
But a space to learn yourself.
A space to listen.
A space to move.
A space to breathe.
A space to nourish.
A space to reflect.
A space to gather.
A space to grow.
A sanctuary.
A meeting place.
A mirror.
A guide.
A place where you don't have to arrive as anything other than yourself.
Come as you are.
Come back to your body.
Come back to yourself.
Bring life into what is already there.
